Tax advantage for real estate investment in France in 2017.

For tourism residences: tax reduction on energy renovation, facade renovation or adaptation to people with disabilities. Tax reduction that will equal 20% of the works within the limit of 22,000 euros.
- The Zero Loan: for those who become owners for the first time. The maximum amount of the Zero Loan can reach 40% of the purchase price of a new accomodation (or old accomodation with 25% of renovation works).

Investing in the new building (the Pinel law): tax reduction of 12, 18 or 21% of the purchase price of new housing, in return for a commitment to lease it over a period of 6, 9 or 12 years (up to 63,000 euro). A tax reduction is limited at an investment of 300 000 € and a maximum price of 5 500 € / m². The possibility of renting to an ascendant or a descendant is still valid in 2017. Example: if you invest a sum of 200 000 € to acquire an apartment the reduction rises to 42 000 € over 12 years, i.e. 3 500 € /year. Rental conditions: The landlord is required to rent the accomodation as the principal residence of a leaseholder. The rental period must be at least 6 years. The accommodation must be rented within 12 months of delivery of the property.
