Ospedaletti new port, bridge Ospedaletti 2018

A water basin of 48 thousand square meters, which corresponds to 350 places equivalent of 12 meters, 12 thousand meters of ground for commercial structures, touristic and office spots, a bathing facility with a beach, port for associations, green zones and a new road access, storages of a thousand meters. These are, in short, key elements of the new port in Ospedaletti.

Next to the port area, both on western and on eastern sides, there will be fully equipped and maintained free beaches.

Compared to the original project, it is a very reduced landfall, with a limited impact on the territory compared to initial forecasts. Not only that: buildings that will host tourist apartments (but not residences), commercial spaces, offices, can not be higher than the street level. The goal is to avoid an impact, even visual as well as environmental, that distort the area close to Aurelia road and sea side.

Some fixed points are already there: volumes are cut down to about 30,000 cubic meters against the 100,000 of the first project; the intended use of the ground works will be entirely devoted to tourist accommodation and services, in Portosole style, residential to zero and above all prohibit the construction of shopping centers.
